Rohr Reef Resilience project

Isla Iguana - Panama

Davey Kline and his team from the Smithsonian Institution of Tropical Research in Panama are working to determine what makes a “Super Coral” by studying some of the toughest corals in the world in the Tropical Eastern Pacific.

This is the start of year 2 of the project.

This Fall we are sampling the upwelling gradient in Panama from Las Perlas, Isla Iguana to Coiba on an 85 ft sailboat, sponsored by Mark Rohr and Luc Hardy / Pax Arctica.
