Jeff Wieland, a venture capital investor and consultant, lives in New York City with his wife and three children. The North Pole 2011 will be his first trip to the Arctic.

Guillaume Cuvelier has a passion for the mountains, loves the snow, and has trekked, skinned, and skied in the Alps, Tibet, and the Rockies as much as his busy city life has allowed him. Based in New York City, Guillaume has become an active investor after a successful career in the liquor industry.

Sebastian Copeland is an award-winning photographer, author, lecturer and environmental advocate. Along with Luc Hardy, he is the co-leader of this expedition.

Matty McNair adventures are a way of life. Internationally recognized as the top woman polar guide in the world, Matty has journeyed to both Poles setting several very impressive world records. She will be the guide for this expedition

Brian Knappenberger is an award winning Writer, Director, Reporter and Producer who has been creating films for over ten years. Olivier Gilg. Doctor in Ecology, associate researcher at the University of Helsinki, Finland, president of GREA, and that is just a beginning. Oliver is at home in the Arctic.

Adrian Aebischer. It is one thing to study Biology, but another to be a passionate ornithologist. Adrian is a research biologist for the University of Bern and the Natural History Museum in Fribourg, Switzerland.
